बृज की होली    बात मथुरा की हो और होली की चर्चा  न हो ऐसा संभव नहीं।  सम्पूर्ण विश्व में प्रसिद्द यहाँ की होली जिसके लिए लाखों श्रद्धालु देश-विदेश से यहाँ आते हैं।  होली ऐसा त्यौहार है जिसे रंगो के उत्सव के रूप में मानते हैं। भारतवर्ष में यह पर्व फाल्गुन पूर्णिमा को मनाया जाता है और इसके एक दिन बाद ही रंगों से होली खेली जाती है किन्तु ब्रज (मथुरा) की होली एक अनूठा ही त्यौहार है जो एक या दो दिन नहीं पूरे महीने भर सा ही मनाया जाता है। सम्पूर्ण ब्रज ही इस समय देखने लायक होता है।  सभी मंदिरों में विशेष उत्सव होते हैं।  होली के गीत, विशेष रूप से ब्रज भाषा के लोक गीत अत्यंत ही कर्णप्रिय होते हैं किन्तु इस मौसम में ये और अधिक सुहावने लगते हैं। जहाँ भी देखो बसंत का रंग सर्दी के जाने का संकेत देता है। फाल्गुन शुक्ल एकादशी से ये उत्सव और भी रंगमय हो जाता है।                   बरसाना , नंदगाव , मथुरा अलग-अलग दिनों में अपने ही प्रकार की होली का अनुभव कराते हैं। वैसे तो पूरे त्यौहार के...
