Holi Celebration in Brij ( बृज की होली )

बृज की होली 

 

बात मथुरा की हो और होली की चर्चा  न हो ऐसा संभव नहीं।  सम्पूर्ण विश्व में प्रसिद्द यहाँ की होली जिसके लिए लाखों श्रद्धालु देश-विदेश से यहाँ आते हैं।  होली ऐसा त्यौहार है जिसे रंगो के उत्सव के रूप में मानते हैं। भारतवर्ष में यह पर्व फाल्गुन पूर्णिमा को मनाया जाता है और इसके एक दिन बाद ही रंगों से होली खेली जाती है किन्तु ब्रज (मथुरा) की होली एक अनूठा ही त्यौहार है जो एक या दो दिन नहीं पूरे महीने भर सा ही मनाया जाता है।

सम्पूर्ण ब्रज ही इस समय देखने लायक होता है।  सभी मंदिरों में विशेष उत्सव होते हैं।  होली के गीत, विशेष रूप से ब्रज भाषा के लोक गीत अत्यंत ही कर्णप्रिय होते हैं किन्तु इस मौसम में ये और अधिक सुहावने लगते हैं।

जहाँ भी देखो बसंत का रंग सर्दी के जाने का संकेत देता है। फाल्गुन शुक्ल एकादशी से ये उत्सव और भी रंगमय हो जाता है। 

                 बरसाना , नंदगाव , मथुरा अलग-अलग दिनों में अपने ही प्रकार की होली का अनुभव कराते हैं। वैसे तो पूरे त्यौहार के समय में ही विशेष  होली के कार्यक्रम आयोजित किये जाते हैं परन्तु लोगों की सुविधानुसार कुछ दिन निश्चित कर दिए जाते हैं जिससे श्रद्धालु सभी जगह का आनंद प्राप्त कर सकें।

    

श्री कृष्ण जन्मस्थान की होली :

            

            मथुरा श्री कृष्ण जन्मस्थान में एकादशी के दिन ये कार्यक्रम निर्धारित रहता है और देश विदेश के श्रद्धालु इसका आनंद प्राप्त करते हैं।  जन्मस्थान  परिसर में सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम, रास, चरकुला तथा श्री कृष्ण की बाल लीलाओं का मंचन किया जाता है जिसे बड़ी संख्या में लोगों द्वारा देखा जाता है।  इन आयोजन को देखने के साथ -साथ मंदिर के दर्शन और स्वयं भी इस रंगोत्सव में रंगमय होकर ब्रज में होली खेलने का रसास्वादन करते हुए आनंद प्राप्त करते हैं। 

बरसाना की होली :

              इसी क्रम में बरसाना की लठमार होली भी विश्वप्रसिद्ध है।  राधारानी की ये स्थली भी अद्भुत है जहाँ श्री कृष्ण ने राधा रानी के साथ होली खेलने की लीला की। इस कारण से भी इसका महत्व बढ़ जाता है।  राधा कृष्ण की ये विशिष्ट लीलाएं भक्तों , श्रद्धालुओं और पर्यटकों को विशेष रूप से आकर्षित करती  हैं। ये होली  के दृश्य रंगीली गलियों के जीवंत चित्रों को जागृत  रूप में प्रस्तुत करते  हैं। 

            

संतो का आगमन :       

                अनेक संतों का भी ब्रज में इस समय आगमन होता है , वे भी ब्रज की उसी होली का आनंद प्राप्त करना चाहते है जो प्रभु के महारास जैसे दृश्य प्रस्तुत करती है और जिसे देखने कैलाश से भगवान शिव स्वयं ब्रज में एक बार फिर से आये थे।  

मंदिरो और शहर में होली :

             यही क्रम होली तक चलता रहता है।  ब्रज के रंग और उमंग में सराबोर होकर लोग होली का आनंद लेते हैं। अनेकों डोले यहाँ के बाजारों में निकलते हैं।  भगवान् मंदिरों की सीमा से निकलकर शहर के मुख्य बाज़ारों में लोगों पर रंग और गुलाल बरसाते हुरियारों की टोलियों के साथ भ्रमण करते दिखाई देते हैं।  

हुरियारों की टोली :

                हुरियारों की टोलियां सजधज कर रंग, गुलाल और पिचकारी लिए बड़े बाज़ारों से लेकर छोटी-छोटी गलियों में भी रंग और गुलाल का धुआं उड़ाते हुए निकलते हैं। 

      रसिया , दंगल , चौपाइयां , कवि सम्मलेन भी इसी का एक भाग हैं जो जगह-जगह आयोजित किये जाते हैं।  सभी क्षेत्रों में निश्चित समय पर होने वाले इन आयोजनों का समय पूर्व निर्धारित होता है। प्रेमी लोग दूर-दूर तक इनका आनंद लेने पहुंचते हैं। 

       होली के बाद ,साथ ही हुरंगे भी होते हैं जो लम्बे समय से ऐसे ही होते आ रहे हैं , लोग अधिक से अधिक संख्या में यहाँ जुड़ते हैं और प्रतिवर्ष इनकी संख्या में बढ़ोतरी ही हो रही है। 

     

    

        ब्रज और यहाँ की होली पर यदि कुछ कहना प्रारम्भ किया जाये तो इसे शब्दों में कह पाना अत्यंत कठिन हो होगा।  हम कह सकते हैं कि आधुनिक समय में भी यह पर्व लोगों में उत्साह के साथ, बिना भेद भाव् के , सम्पूर्ण उमंग और श्रद्धा के साथ  मनाया जाता है। इसके साथ ही ब्रज ने अपनी इस सांस्कृतिक विरासत को न केवल बचाये रखा है अपितु सम्पूर्ण विश्व को इसके प्रति आकर्षित भी किया है।

It is not possible to talk about Mathura and there is no discussion of Holi. Holi is famous all over the world for which lakhs of devotees come here from abroad. Holi is a festival which is considered as a festival of colors. In India, this festival is celebrated on Phalgun Purnima and Holi is played only one day after the colors, but Holi of Braj (Mathura) is a unique festival which is celebrated for the whole month, not a day or two.

The entire Braj is worth seeing at this time. All temples have special celebrations. Holi songs, especially the folk songs of the Braj language, are extremely popular, but in this season they become more pleasant.

Wherever you look, the color of spring indicates the passing of winter. This festival becomes even more colorful due to Phalgun Shukla Ekadashi.

                 Barsana, Nandgaon, Mathura experience their own type of Holi on different days. Although special Holi programs are organized at the time of the entire festival, but some days are fixed according to the convenience of the people so that the devotees can enjoy all the places.

                This program is scheduled on the day of Ekadashi in Mathura Shri Krishna's birthplace and the devotees of the country and abroad enjoy it. In the birthplace complex, cultural programs, Raas, Charakula and Bal Leelas of Shri Krishna are staged which are seen by a large number of people. Along with watching these events, the philosophy of the temple and itself get colorful while celebrating playing Holi in Braj by being colorful in this festival.

              In this sequence, Lathmar Holi of Barsana is also world famous. This place of Radharani is also amazing where Shri Krishna took the time to play Holi with Radha Rani. For this reason also its importance increases. These unique pastimes of Radha Krishna particularly attract devotees, devotees and tourists. These Holi scenes present vibrant images of colorful lanes.

            Many saints also come to Braj at this time, they also want to enjoy the same Holi of Braj which presents scenes like the Maharas of the Lord and which Lord Shiva himself once again came to Braj from Kailash.

             This sequence continues till Holi. People enjoy Holi by being soaked in the color and vibrancy of Braj. Many bags come to the markets here. The Lord is seen coming out of the confines of the temples and marching in the main markets of the city along with hordes of colored and gulal raining hurriars.

Troubles of the Hurriyars come out from the big bazaars for color, gulal and pichkari, even in small streets, blowing smoke of color and gulal.

      Rasiya, Dangal, Chaupayan, Kavi Sammelan are also a part of it which are organized from place to place. The time for these events to be held at all times in all regions is predetermined. Lovers reach far and wide to enjoy them.

       After Holi, there are also hooranges, which have been happening like this for a long time, people join in greater numbers here and their number is increasing every year.

      

        If you start saying something about Braj and Holi here, it will be very difficult to say it in words. We can say that even in modern times, this festival is celebrated with enthusiasm, without enthusiasm, with full zeal and reverence. With this, Braj has not only preserved his cultural heritage but has also attracted the whole world towards it.
